What should I wear to the photoshoot?
This is top of my list because it is my favorite question. I’m here to help your images feel timeless, creamy, and effortlessly beautiful — and it all starts with what you wear.
We’ll walk through the why behind styling, the do’s and don’ts, gather inspiration, and can even create a customized Style Lookbook designed specifically for your session.
Because when the outfits are intentional, everything else falls into place.

Do you travel?
YES YES YES!! I love traveling. I'd like to say that I’d go anywhere or do anything for the perfect shot - and for you!
How long will you be at our wedding?
When you book with me, you get the whole shebang! I’m here for all of it! We will perfectly map out your day together to fit all the details in.
We get to grab coffee or hop on a phone call to make sure i'm there from start to finish. Why miss any of the fun?
How long until I get my photos?
I deliver photos as quickly as possible! My typical turnaround time is 6-8 weeks for weddings and 2-4 weeks for portrait sessions. I know waiting can feel like forever, but trust me… I want your images looking gooooood before they land in your hands.
How will I receive my pictures?
All your photos are delivered through Pixieset, a simple and beautiful online gallery. You can view and download all your gorgeous and organized images easily.
Do you offer digital files, prints, and albums?
After your photoshoot, you’ll receive your full online gallery, a complete collection of images ready to enjoy. But there’s something really special about holding your memories in your hands, so I offer custom albums. Each album is thoughtfully designed by me to tell your story from start to finish. Printed through one of my favorite fine-art printers.
How long is a photoshoot?
For one hour we’ll chase the light, laugh a little, and fill up the camera with your smiles!
Should I do an engagement session?
YES! and guess what… it’s FREE when you book your wedding with me! I love engagement sessions so much that I include them in every wedding package on purpose. They’re the perfect way to shake off the jitters, get comfortable in front of the camera, and have some fun together on an adventure before your big day.
Can I bring multiple outfits for my photoshoot?
Absolutely. Bring the options! Just know we usually get caught up in the fun, and most people stick to 1-2 outfits (3 for senior sessions). Start with your favorite and we’ll go from there. Outfit changes can take about 10 minutes once we factor in walking back and switching.
I don't think my kids will last for a full photoshoot, do you offer mini sessions?
Great question!!
I totally understand the thought process with little kids! Especially having littles myself!
But I’ve actually found that the extra time makes things sooooo much easier!! I love to take a minute to run around with the kids, be a little silly and help them see I’m a safe, kind, fun person! Once i’ve gained their trust and they’ve got the lay of the land of where we will be taking pictures, it’s go time with plenty of wiggle breaks along the way. It will be done before they know it. My goal is to always capture the real smiles and I’m always happy to do the work to help make that a fun experience for everyone!!
Because of that, I don’t offer mini sessions. I offered them before and I’ve found they can feel more stressful for families because everything is rushed and there’s pressure to get a few quick smiles. I was also always disappointed with how little people received back from them 🤍
My heart is to create a relaxed experience and make sure I’m delivering a gallery full of beautiful, genuine moments. I want families to feel like the time and money they invested was truly worth it 🤍
How do I pick the perfect location for my session?
I have tons of go-to spots based on the vibe you’re dreaming of: open fields, tucked-away pines, lakeside glow, you name it. And if I don’t already have the perfect location? I will happily dive deep and find it. I’m always down for a little scouting adventure!
Do you give sneak peek pictures?
Absolutely - I love giving sneak peeks for weddings!! I quickly turnaround of a few favorite images soon after for announcing your big day to your family and friends on socials or just to enjoy while in suspense for the big reveal of the full album!
What time of day is best for photos?
My favorite time to shoot will always be a little before sunset!!! That golden-hour glow is unmatched - soft, warm, and so flattering on everyone.
How do you make kids feel comfortable in front of the camera?
I love to take a minute to run around with the kids, be a little silly and help them see I'm a kind person who also has little kids! Can you work with large families or multiple generations?
Absolutely! I’m always honored to capture beautiful generational and large family photos. Those images end up meaning more and more as the years go by, and I’ll help organize everyone so it still feels easy and natural.
