"Fit Check"

I’m here to help your images feel timeless, creamy, and effortlessly beautiful, it all starts with what you wear.

We’ll walk through the why behind styling, the do’s and don’ts, gather inspiration, and will even create a customized Style Lookbook designed specifically for your session.

Because when the outfits are intentional, everything else falls into place.

So here we go… let’s check the fit.

Bread & Butter

Sometimes the sweetest looks are all about coming back to the basics. The base of a creamy picture begins with a soft color. This can range from white to baby pastels - but neutrals are what ignite my soul. Think light creams, sage, butter yellow, muted blues, and earthy tans. These tones photograph beautifully

but also pair effortlessly with natural backgrounds like fields, woodlands, or soft golden light. When in doubt, choose pieces that feel timeless and simple. Think of your colors as the bread and butter of your picture: they set the tone, pull everything together, and create the foundation for that timeless, dreamy look.

Milk & Honey

There are little touches that make the biggest difference, like adding the milk and honey. Add textures instead of patterns; think linens, knits, flowy fabrics, long ties on the back of a dress sort of thing. But just a tad. Keep accessories minimal and natural, just a hint goes a long way.

Coordinating with “complimenting colors,” not matching identically.   Comfort is always a win, especially because movement photos are some of the best clicks. And above all, wear what makes you feel confident, because confidence is the most beautiful thing you can bring to your session.

DO'S

Stick to soft, neutral colors: creams, blush, sage, muted blues, warm tans, gentle pastels, butter yellow. In autumn, think gentle fall colors instead of deep. Soft black is okay, picture faded soft black denim.

Choose textures over patterns: linen, soft knits, flowy fabrics, delicate layering, ties on dresses.

Coordinate colors that compliment each other, don’t match exactly.

Keep accessories minimal and natural.

Wear comfortable outfits that allow movement.

Wear what makes you feel confident.

DON'TS

Avoid overly bright or dark colors (other than black).

Avoid heavy patterns or flannels.

Avoid bright red or orange, except soft fall colors.

Avoid excessive or flashy accessories.

Avoid hats with the exception of cowboy hats.

Avoid stiff, uncomfortable outfits.

Avoid hair ties or apple watches on wrists.

Avoid Oura rings unless it compliments your look.

Avoid wallets and phones in pockets.
